HGS UK is hiring a Vice President of Sales to lead our growth in the Retail and Consumer Goods sector, with a specific focus on Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG). This role is about driving new business by delivering digital solutions that help consumer-facing brands transform how they engage, support, and retain their customers. You will lead sales across retail, ecommerce, and CPG organisations, selling intelligent services that combine customer experience, automation, analytics, and AI. These are delivered through HGS’s global delivery model and powered by partnerships with Microsoft, AWS, SAP, Anaplan, and others. You’ll work closely with delivery, pre-sales, and technology partners to create pipeline and close high-value deals that directly impact how brands compete in a fast-moving market. This is a high-impact role with strong executive backing, clear strategic intent, and the opportunity to define how HGS UK goes to market in this sector.

What we are looking for:
- Can you build a pipeline from scratch, lead complex sales conversations, and collaborate with delivery and partner teams to close strategic deals?
- Can you translate challenges like customer churn, fulfilment friction, and fragmented channels into clear, tech-enabled solutions?
- Are you comfortable engaging clients on services enabled by platforms like Databricks, Genyses, Twilio, or UiPath?
- Do you understand how to sell into fast-moving environments, where speed, agility, and customer insight drive decisions?
We are looking for someone who brings credibility, market fluency, and the commercial leadership to win new business in a strategic growth sector.
Requirements:
- Proven success in enterprise sales within retail, consumer goods, ecommerce, or FMC
- Experience selling digitally enabled services such as CX transformation, automation, analytics, or AI
- Strong commercial understanding of customer acquisition, retention, omnichannel experience, and consumer data use
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating across delivery, solution, and alliance teams
- Must bring experience supporting retailers or CPG brands through growth, change, or digital reinvention
