Are you ready to take the next step in your sales career as a Public Sector Business Development Manager at HGS?
As HGS continues to grow its public sector presence, you will help identify, develop and progress opportunities that support digital, technology and customer experience services across central government, local government, healthcare, education and wider public bodies. Working closely with the VP - Public Sector, you will help build a strong pipeline, qualify opportunities, engage with prospective clients and support the development of credible solutions across CX, digital and technology services. This role would suit someone who combines commercial curiosity with discipline, accuracy and resilience. You will be comfortable navigating procurement portals, framework agreements, Dynamic Purchasing Systems, contract notices and structured sales processes, while knowing when to involve bid, solution, partner and delivery colleagues to shape the right response. You will join a commercially focused environment where opportunity quality, evidence, timing and stakeholder alignment matter. When an opportunity is not immediately clear, you will use the right research, qualification routes, internal expertise and escalation points to reach a practical view. If you are confident building relationships, motivated by public sector transformation and ready to develop broader ownership of pipeline, opportunity strategy and revenue growth, this could be a strong opportunity to build your career with HGS.
