Are you an experienced BPO HR Manager who enjoys being close to the business and making a practical difference to how people are supported and managed? This is a senior, on-site role in a growing Cape Town contact centre, with full ownership of the HR agenda and strong visibility across the site. You will partner closely with local leadership and stakeholders in the UK, providing confident, people-focused HR support while shaping consistent and compliant ways of working. This role suits someone who combines empathy with sound judgement, and who is comfortable balancing business priorities with fair, solutions-led people decisions.

What we are looking for: 

  • Are you a confident, business-facing HR generalist with BPO experience?
  • Do you build strong relationships with leaders and employees through credibility and trust?
  • Are you practical and solution-minded when handling complex people issues?
  • Do you enjoy working in fast-paced contact centre environments where HR is close to the operation?

Requirements:

  • Proven HR management experience within a BPO or high-volume service environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with South African labour law, IR, and Employment Equity
  • Track record of managing complex ER, absence, and performance issues end to end
  • Experience supporting large employee populations (500+)
  • Comfortable operating on site and being visible to leaders and employees
  • Degree in HR or a related discipline
