Job Title: Senior QA Analyst - BFSI Domain – Payments or Core Banking expertise
Location: Offshore - Bengaluru
Summary:
As a Senior QA, the candidate will be responsible for leading the QA process for some of the projects of our client. They will be working closely with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, manage test execution, and implement best practices in quality assurance. Expertise in the BFSI domain will be crucial in identifying risks and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Involve in planning, executing, and managing testing activities and lead the QA process from front.
- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality is embedded in the development process.
- Design, develop and maintain Test plan, Test cases, Defect reports
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for various applications, focusing on functional, regression, and performance testing (Cypress, Selenium and Appium)
- Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
- Oversee the tracking and reporting of defects, ensuring timely resolution and communication with relevant teams.
- Analyze testing results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive product improvements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
- Strong experience in the BFSI domain, with a solid exposure of Core Banking/Payments/Cards. Expertise in any Financial products is desired.
- Proficiency in test automation tools (Must have - Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, Apache JMeter) and test management tools (e.g., JIRA).
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
- Certifications in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) or relevant BFSI certifications.
- Experience with performance testing and security testing in BFSI applications.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) for test automation.
