Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SAP S/4HANA Fiori UI5 Developer with expertise in ABAP and CDS (Core Data Services). As a member of our dynamic team, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing SAP Fiori applications using UI5 framework, ensuring a seamless user experience and efficient utilization of SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP UI5 framework, adhering to Fiori design principles and guidelines.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to understand business requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.
- Enhance existing SAP Fiori/UI5 applications by adding new features, optimizing performance, and improving user experience.
- Work closely with the ABAP team to develop backend logic and integrate UI5 applications with SAP S/4HANA backend systems using ABAP programming and CDS views.
- Develop and maintain SAP Gateway services (OData services) to expose backend data for consumption by Fiori/UI5 applications.
- Perform unit testing, troubleshooting, and bug fixing of Fiori/UI5 applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Follow best practices and coding standards for SAP Fiori/UI5 development, ensuring compliance with security and data privacy guidelines.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; an MBA or master’s degree is preferred.
Experience and Requirements:
- 4-7 yrs experience on SAP S/4HANA Fiori UI5 with expertise in ABAP and CDS (Core Data Services).
- Extensive hands-on experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development, including building custom UI5 applications, enhancing standard Fiori apps, and creating custom UI5 controls.
- Solid understanding and experience with Core Data Services (CDS) and CDS views, including the creation of complex CDS entities and associations.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation projects and knowledge of S/4HANA data models and business processes.
- Proficiency in SAP Gateway/OData services development and consumption.
- Strong knowledge of SAPUI5 libraries, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX
