JD: Azure Data Engineer
Position Summary
We are seeking a high-impact Azure Data Engineering with 3+ years of experience for our data engineering team. In this role, you will be the technical consultant for our Microsoft Fabric and Generative AI . You will bridge the gap between complex client requirements and developing solutions, leveraging your deep technical and functional understanding of data analytics
Some of your responsibilities would include:

Understand existing landscape and business objectives of the customers.

Translate their explicit and implicit requirements into optimal, scalable, high performance Azure Analytics solution.

Modify existing solutions to enhance, optimize, or to incorporate new functionality.

Ensure high quality of deliverables from self and team.

Provide candid, meaningful feedback and regular progress updates to the team and customer.

Explore how the world of data has evolved and how the advent of cloud technologies is providing new opportunities for businesses to explore.

Learn the various data platform technologies that are available, and how to take advantage of the available technologies for organizational benefit.

Contribute to presales activities including proposals, POC and Demos.
What we are looking for:

3-6 years of professional work experience with at least 3 year as cloud data engineer preferably in Microsoft Azure.

Well versed with relational databases, nonrelational databases, data streams, and file stores
-
Should be able to perform data-related tasks in Microsoft Azure cloud analytics platform.

Well versed with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL DBAnalysis Services (AAS)
-
Must possess excellent programming skills with SQL, Spark SQL, and Python

Having experience working on spark platform

Should be able to use services and tools to ingest, egress, and transform data from multiple sources, including SAP within Microsoft Azure.

Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders to identify and meet data requirements.

Ability to Design and implement Azure analytics solutions.
-
Manage, monitor, and ensure the security and privacy of data to satisfy business needs.
-
Ensure that data services securely and seamlessly integrate with other data platform technologies or application services such as Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Search, or even bots.

Having Azure data engineer associate certification is preferred.
-
Good to have experience in reporting tools like PowerBI.

Having experience with Snowflake and Snowpro certification is a bonus.

Excellent communication skills

Demonstrated knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology – requirements gathering, design, build/test and deploy (Agile methodology preferable).
