Job Description: 

Role Purpose

To build, maintain and improve our online product catalogue.

Position Detail

Main Responsibilities

Main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Quality checking new product submissions, ensuring product names, content and images are accurate, complete and comply with quality standards.

  • Quality checking product outreach forms, ensuring all requested information is complete and complies with quality standards.

  • Compiling reports of any errors or missing information and returning them to the Product Catalogue Specialist.

  • Ensuring products are attributed correctly to improve site search functionality.

  • Liaising directly with the Temple & Webster supplier base to finalise ongoing submission projects.

  • Entering submission projects and providing constant support to our internal teams so products appear on the site in accordance with internal deadlines.

  • Using online tools to upload new products to the site accurately and efficiently.

  • Ensuring products are classified correctly to improve site search functionality.

  • Coaching suppliers through the various product information projects required to list products on Templeandwebster.com.au.

  • Completing ad hoc updates to product content as requested by other departments via the merchandising ticketing system.

  • Proactively identifying opportunities to improve the product addition process and associated tools.

  • Liaising with internal teams to implement improvements to the product additions process.

  • Conducting pre-live Quality Assurance processes and setting new products live onsite.

  • Reaching out to suppliers to obtain new product submissions.

  • Copywriting and editing product content.

  • Performing other ad hoc tasks as requested by your manager.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Highly computer literate, especially with Excel.

  • Great attention to detail, with the ability to catch errors and suggest solutions.

  • The ability to learn and follow established processes for product development and creation.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.

  • Able to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
