Role Overview

You’ll ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of the client's React/Next.js storefront applications. By designing test strategies, building automated suites, and performing exploratory testing, you’ll help deliver a seamless, high-quality shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate frontend features for functionality, performance, and accessibility.

  • Build and maintain automated test suites (unit, integration, E2E).

  • Perform manual exploratory testing to catch edge cases.

  • Integrate testing workflows into CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to resolve defects quickly.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as a QA Engineer (automation).

  • Testing React/Next.js apps in e-commerce or high-traffic environments.

  • Automated testing tools (Vitest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright).

  • E2E testing frameworks & maintainable test scripting.

  • Frontend performance validation (Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse).

  • Accessibility testing (WCAG 2.1+, Axe, Lighthouse audits).

  • CI/CD integration (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD).

  • Clear test case writing, bug reporting, and defect resolution.

  • Familiarity with Git, REST/GraphQL APIs, headless CMS.

  • Experience with Jira/Confluence for documentation.
