About the Job

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Junior Graphic Designer with strong skills in vector illustration and image editing. This role is heavily focused on Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with occasional layout work in InDesign.

You’ll help create digital and print assets for publishing that align with brand guidelines. You will work closely with project managers throughout the production process of our textbooks.

Critical Functions and Responsibilities

• Create and edit vector graphics, icons, covers, and illustrations using Adobe Illustrator.

• Produce high-quality image edits, retouching, mockups, and digital graphics using Adobe Photoshop.

• Adapt and transform stock images, vectors, and other source assets into original designs based on creative prompts or project requirements.

• Create art figures and graphs based on given data and information.

• Maintain consistency across all visual materials and follow established brand guidelines.

• Assist with basic layout and document formatting tasks.

• Organize and manage design files, templates, and assets efficiently.

• Collaborate with marketing, content, and senior designers to meet project deadlines.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (primary requirement).

• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe InDesign.

• Understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

• Ability to create clean vector artwork and scalable graphics.

• Strong attention to detail and file organization skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Good communication and collaboration skills.

• Portfolio showcasing vector work, branding, digital graphics, or illustration projects.
