Is responsible for the general support and success of any assigned portfolio or payer team. The ASP provides key support to ensure there is proper and correct back end workflows to all claims, projects,and any other assigned tasks.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Retrieving all necessary documentation for assigned claims
• Confirming all secondary insurance packets are complete with EOB’s
• Reviewing notation in HART to confirm compliance
• Confirming claim is properly mailed in accordance with customer workflows
• Confirming claim number status
• Ensuring all claims are notated properly and all information is valid on claims
• Maintaining all claims that need to be sent physically are attached and mailed properly
• Correctly submitting all medical record requests as needed
• Maintaining quality customer services through assigned portfolio
• Ensuring legal compliance
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Detail oriented, strong problem solving, analyzing information and research skills Excellent
math, verbal and communication skills
• Computer proficiency, experience with financial software, Documentation and data entry skills
• Ability to meet all required duties including additional assigned responsibilities as needed
