Job Description: 

Key Position Accountabilities

Invoice Processing & Matching

  • Review, code, and enter vendor invoices; perform 3-way matching (PO, GRN, Invoice) and ensure correct coding to project numbers, GL accounts and cost centres

  • Coordinate with procurement/warehouse to resolve discrepancies and maintain vendor advance payment records

Payment Execution and Reporting

  • Prepare and process weekly payment runs and estimate AP run value for upcoming pay cycles

  • Report unprocessed invoice volume/value and forecast upcoming vendor invoice volume/value by category

Vendor Management

  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies and act as primary contact for vendor inquiries

  • Maintain vendor relationships, optimise cash flow and update vendor master data

Month-End/Year-End Close

  • Perform monthly vendor reconciliations and assist in preparing accruals (unbilled receipts)

  • Support internal and external audits

Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency in workflows

 

Qualifications:

  • At least a year of AP experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or logistics

  • Understanding of inventory, raw material purchasing, and freight/logistics invoicing

  • Exposure to ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
