Job Description: 

Key Position Responsibilities

The day-to-day responsibilities include:

  • Performing the key control of PEP and Sanctions screening, vetting positive and false positive alerts, and recording information in the relevant system for ongoing monitoring

  • Completing investigations from relevant sources as required

  • Ensuring workloads are managed with efficiency

  • Assisting with the preparation of MI for relevant committees / management

  • Assisting with ad-hoc duties

Team Member Requirements

Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Attributes

  • 2–3 years AML compliance experience in the financial services industry

  • Previous PEP & Sanctions screening experience is ideal

  • Strong knowledge of the KYC end-to-end process

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and locations

  • Ability to prioritise and deliver against deadlines

  • A positive and proactive attitude

  • Outstanding attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume, and demanding environment

Desirable

  • Experience working in the FX/CFD industry, within a fintech or similar online/non-face-to-face business model

  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience working with AML and financial services regulations in a major jurisdiction

  • CAMS or CFE certification
