Job Description: 

 

This position is responsible for submitting invoices via email, mail, and EDI. Interpersonal, problem-solving, decision-making, planning and organizational skills are required.  Position requires a high level of accuracy, quantity and proficiency of work in a busy atmosphere.  Ability to work on your own, develop, and be a self-starter.  This position is a fulltime salaried position.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Prepare/analyze BOLs to prepare for billing

  • Work with CSR / POA to reconcile invoice issues

  • Complete billing cycle with invoicing and posting

  • Problem solves issues as they arise

  • Document relevant data

  • Develop and maintain customer relationships at a high level

  • Strong level of data entry skills

  • Strong interpersonal communication skills

  • High level of communication

  • Use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook

  • General understanding of inventory / purchase orders / bill of ladings

  • Sense of urgency / able to manage time / meet deadlines

  • Other job duties as assigned

 

General Requirements:

  • 1 - 3 years in billing environment

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft applications
